Body of Cafe Coffee Day founder Siddhartha found

Mangaluru: Body of Coffee Day founder and son-in-law of former chief minister S M Krishna, who was missing since the evening of Monday was found on Wednesday morning on the riverbank at Hoige Bazar area in city.
A local fisherman named Rithesh who spotted the body intimated authorities, following which police reached the spot.
Mangaluru MLA U T Khader said friends and relatives have confirmed that the body is of Siddhartha.
Earlier, police said the body, which appeared to be of Siddhartha, was yet to be identified by his family.
“A body has been found, which appears to be him. Final confirmation has to be done by the family,” said deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district Sasikanth Senthil.
City Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil said Siddhartha’s family has been informed and the body has been kept at Wenlock Hospital for further formalities.
Following the post-mortem his body will be taken to Chetanahali estate in Chikkamagaluru district in an ambulance.
