In a significant breakthrough, the absconding accused involved in the high-profile murder case of Vishala Ganiga in Brahmavar has been successfully apprehended.
The fugitive, Dharmendra Kumar Suhani, who had been evading authorities abroad, was arrested by the Brahmavar police in Lucknow.
The shocking murder of Vishala Ganiga occurred in July 2021 at Milan’s residence in Kumragodu, falling under the jurisdiction of the Brahmavar police station. Notably, Vishala’s husband, Ramakrishna, along with Swaminathan Nishad and Rohit Rana Pratap, had already been arrested in connection with the case.
Ramakrishna, the husband, is identified as the primary accused in the Vishala murder case. The latest arrest of Dharmendra Kumar Suhani is a significant development as he is alleged to have played a crucial role by introducing Ramakrishna to the hired assassin, Swaminathan Nishad, and aiding in the execution of the murder.
Dharmendra Kumar Suhani had been evading law enforcement and residing abroad for the past three years. The Brahmavar police, persistent in their efforts, successfully laid a trap resulting in the arrest of Suhani at Lucknow International Airport on February 2. He was subsequently presented before the court on February 3 and remanded to judicial custody.
