Belagavi: Bus services from Karnataka to Maharashtra’s Kolhapur were stopped after workers of the Shiv Sena blackened the Kannada boards of a rest house at Kolhapur.
“The buses heading towards Kolhapur are plying upto the check post near Nippani. Bus services to Sangli, Miraj are operating as usual,” said KSRTC Belagavi Division Controller MR Munji.
The bus operations were stopped after Shiv Sena workers applied black ink to the painted Kannada name of the Mahalakshmi Yatri Nivas in Kolhapur.
