Mysuru: Former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has alleged that a deal of about Rs 5 crore had occurred in the CD case involving Ramesh Jarkiholi.
Speaking to reporters on Friday here, he said, “As per my sources, the deal has been going on for the past three months. Many big names are involved in the case. The government must be investigating this. I am not happy to see such cases. I don’t want to do anything to topple the government even when it is easily possible.”
“Many kinds of interpretation can be made in this case. Why did it occur? Was the intention of all this was to make the minister resign? What about the girl in the video? They both made the video, but who leaked it?” questioned Kumaraswamy.
“Politics has become very dirty. We ourselves are splashing sludge on our selves. People become demoralised and misguided by such cases,” he added.
“Those who say they have a CD of a politician with them must be detained. The government should take possession of the CDs from them and then release them,” Kumaraswamy said.
