Chargesheet filed in the Chandrashekhar Guruji murder case

Habballi: Police filed a charge sheet in the sensational murder of Chandrasekhar Guruji of ‘Sarala Vastu’ fame.

The charge sheet against the two murder accused– Mahantesh Shirur and Manjunath Dummawad– was filed in the JMFC court here and runs into more than 800 pages.

On July 5 this year,  Guruji was stabbed to death by two assailants in the lobby of a hotel near Unakal lake here. The duo escaped from the spot and was arrested four hours later from Ramadurga after a chase.

Hubballi police commissioner Labhu Ram said that the investigators have filed a charge sheet detailing the testimonies of eyewitnesses and other evidence that runs into more than 800 pages.

The Hubballi Dharwad police had formed 5 teams for the investigation into the horrific murder.
