Chikkamagaluru: One arrested for selling articles made of ivory, deer antlers

Chikkamagaluru: A man was arrested trying to sell items carved from ivory and deer antlers, police said on Tuesday.
The accused, Melwin from Sakleshpur was apprehended at a private bus stop, police said.
A complete set of chess pieces carved out of ivory, an ivory box for keeping the chess set, and deer antlers fixed on the trophy were confiscated from his possession.
The accused was produced before the court, which remanded him to police custody.
