Children drown in a temple tank

Mangaluru: Three children hailing from Mangaluru drowned in a temple tank in Nagueshi village of Ponda taluk in South Goa, the police said.
A spokesperson of Ponda police said, “The children had gone for a swim while the parents were offering prayers at Nageushi temple. The mortal remains of the deceased have been recovered from the tank and for post mortem.”
The deceased were identified as Aditi Bhat, 12, Bhuvaneshvar Bhat, 8, and Shravan Hola, 7. They kids were visiting Goa along with their parents and were on a pilgrimage in Ponda that is famous for its temples.
