Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa while addressing the state once again reiterated that lockdown is not a solution to Covid-19.
People must wear masks and follow other protocols laid by government to reduce the infections. This is applicable to Bengaluru as well as all other districts in the state.
Addressing the delay in securing Covid test results, Yediyurappa said that measures have been taken to ensure test reports will be delivered within 24 hours
He also urged Covid 19 suspects/patients not to resort to suicide while adding that as many as 98 percent of the patients have recovered from the infection.
On allegations levelled by Congress leaders including Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar the chief minister said that no misappropriation has taken place in procurement of PPE and other medical equipment.
The chief minister said that he would ensure that whatever information has been sought by the Opposition reaches them in 24 hours. He further urged them to provide constructive criticism rather than levying false accusations.
