Raichur: Revenue Minister R Ashok on Saturday took a swipe at Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, saying that the Yatra is actually ‘Family Pack Yatra.’

Speaking to the reporters, Ashok said, ” Did Sonia Gandhi join Siddaramaiah’s Bangalore to Bellary Padayatra? Did she join DK Shivakumar’s Padayatra? This Bharat Jodo Yatra is nothing but an attempt to save the Gandhi family. Looking at this, I feel that the old ‘Cow and calf’ symbol will soon return.”

He also accused Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah of bad-mouthing PM Modi and said, ” Siddaramaiah should go  to Pakistan or China and ask them ‘Who is Modi?”

Talking about the Gram Vastavya program, R Ashok said,  “I have been staying in the village for the last two years. Earlier governments did not pay attention to Lambani Tanda, Kurubara Hatti. Our government has converted them into villages. Around 60,000 people will be given ‘Hakku patra’ or title deeds on the spot. By the end of November, 1.5 lakh people will receive title deeds in the state.”
