Mangaluru: In the backdrop of the sudden submission of resignation by Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil, Congress held a protest under the leadership of MLC Ivan D’Souza opposing the resignation.
The protest opposing the resignation by the Deputy Commissioner was held at 2 pm in the afternoon, in front of the DC office on Friday.
Sasikanth Senthil took charge as Dakshina Kannada DC on October 2017. Being an efficient and honest official, he successfully handled several problems faced by the district including the recent flooding due to inclement weather.
