Minister of the Social Welfare Department, Dr. HC Mahadevappa promised to rectify the mistakes made by the BJP in the state’s textbooks, citing the need for accurate historical information.

“We will take necessary measures to eliminate any content that does not align with historical truth,” he added.

He further said, “The BJP’s criticism of the Congress is a mere attempt to divert attention from their own anti-incumbency failure. Corruption was rampant during the BJP’s tenure, leading to the rejection of the party by the people.”

“Before criticizing the Congress, the BJP should address Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unfulfilled promise of depositing  Rs 15 lakh into citizens’ bank accounts. The Congress party stands by its promises and delivers to the people,” he added.
