Coronavirus: 392 screened at B’luru airport, none infected

Bengaluru: None of the 392 passengers screened at Bengaluru’s international airport tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

All the passengers screened had in the last 14 days visited Wuhan, China – the epicentre from which the virus spread.

“No passengers to Bengaluru having a history of visit to Wuhan, China in last 14 days reported positive with coronavirus. Total 392 passengers underwent thermal scanner screening from yesterday till 8 am today at Bengaluru International airport,” a statement from the Airport Health Organisation said.

A total of 2572 people have been screened at the airport since January 21.
