Couple passes away on the same day

Kundapur: An elderly couple has together ventured into the afterworld on the same day. In a unique incident, an elderly couple from Thekkatte here, passed away on August 10th.

The deceased have been identified as Belooru Mogebettu Mahabala Acharya (84), retired headmaster of Ultoor Sri Mahalingeshwara aided higher primary school and his wife Lalita Acharya (70). The couple which was together in life is now together in death as well. The couple is survived by five daughters and five sons.

On the morning of August 10th Mahabala Acharya died on the morning of August 10. His wife who was in the hospital due to some illness was being brought from home in order to attend the funeral of her husband, when she breathed her last on the way.
