Covid 19 Dakshina Kannada sees 73 positive cases, 104 discharges & 4 deaths

Mangaluru: The tally of coronavirus cases in the district increased to 2,525 with further 73 new cases being reported on July 15.

So far, 1,089 people have been discharged including 104 persons today. Four more fatalities took the death toll in the district surged to 57.

Out of the 25,265 samples tested so far 22,740 are negative. Presently 1379 cases are active.

Among new cases today, 11 are primary contacts of those infected earlier, 23 ILI cases, 3 SARI cases, 3 international travellers, 1 interdistrict traveller.

One 60–year-old female from Puttur and three patients from Bantwal taluk – two males aged 70 and 73 and a 68-year-old female died today,
