Haleyangadi: The flooding caused by coastal tides and high surf as a result of Cyclone Tauktae, covered beach and roads with water near Sasihithlu
The flooding sent seawater into streets and destroyed several houses, shops and property
Also,the benches and other amenities except public toilet near the beach have been completely destroyed. The beach gates are now closed and the public are not allowed to enter the premises
