Dearness allowance hiked by 4% for central govt employees

New Delhi: In good news for central government employees, the Union Cabinet, on Friday, approved 4 per cent hike in the Dearness Allowance to 21 per cent of basic pay with effect from January 1, 2020.
Nearly 48 lakh government employees and 65 lakh pensioners will be benefitted with this move, said Union Minister Prakash Javadekar
