Delhi Police perform ‘Parikarma’ of AIIMS Delhi to express gratitude

Delhi Police on Wednesday undertook a ‘parikarma’ of the All-India Institute of Medical Science, as a sign of respect for healthcare professionals. Police personnel from south Delhi rode 51 Covid patrol bikes on the occasion to thank the healthcare professionals for their selfless service
The video was shared on MyGovIndia’s official Twitter profile. The tweets said, 51 ‘Covid Patrol’ motorcycles of South Delhi District Police expressed their gratitude & solidarity to our front line corona warriors AIIMS Doctors & paramedics. They are the real Heroes. And women cops in the lead.

Atul Kumar Thakur, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) said, “A parikrama of the AIIMS hospital was conducted as a mark of gratitude. This is in continuation to the ongoing visits to various hospitals and medical professionals by the staff of south district to thank them in this campaign to safeguard citizens of our country,”
It is also said that Senior officers met doctors, medical workers and the security staff at AIIMS, assuring of all help
A few days ago, Delhi Police paid tribute to Gurdwara Bangla Sahib by performing parikrama of the Gurudwara for feeding thousands of people every day amid lockdown.
