DKCC chief Harish Kumar find place in Cong list for Council polls

Bengaluru: The Congress party discharged the names of four contender for the biennial Legislative Council elections to be held on June 11.
C M Ibrahim, K Govindraj, Aravind Kumar S Arali and K Harish Kumar have been picked as Congress competitors after the party chief Rahul Gandhi affirmed their candidature.
Unexpectedly, K Harish Kumar is the occupant Dakshina Kannada Congress Committee (DKCC) President and a conspicuous Billava people group pioneer. Harish Kumar has been suited to give due portrayal to coastal area after party suffered huge losses in the recent assembly elections, where the party managed to retain only one seat.
Other probables including K V Sudarshan and Rani Satish failed to find place this time.
