Excise officials seize over 5k litres of illegally stored liquor during raids

Bengaluru: Excise officials have confiscated over 5000 litres of liquor during raids conducted between March 27 to April 5 at various places.
Though liquor stores are shut due to the nation-wide lockdown, black marketers had hoarded alcohol stock at petty shops, houses etc and were selling the same at high prices.
The excise officials conducted raids at nearly 6915 spots and seized the illegally stored liquor and arrested 123 persons.
