Bengaluru: Family members’ of late activist, senior journalist Gauri Lankesh expressed their concern over ongoing investigation into her murder case as the probe by a Special Investigation team (SIT) hasn’t yet succeeded to nab the culprits as expected earlier. Gauri Lankesh was shot dead by unidentified murderers on September 5 this year in Bengaluru.

In a statement, elder sister of Gauri Lankesh, Kavitha Lankesh said that her family has no information on present status of investigation into the murder amid statements from state home minister that the government has key information on the culprits who murdered the writer in Bengaluru.

Last week, Karnataka Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy had claimed that the investigators managed to gather key information on the murderers. However, the government hasn’t updated anything inconnection with the murder, Kavitha pointed out.
