Farmers from Kolar, Chikkaballapur to Hold Bike Rally in Bengaluru

Chikkaballapur: Farmers from Chikkaballapur and Kolar districts are holding a bike rally on Thursday urging the Karnataka government to provide permanent irrigation facility in their respective districts. According to the sources, farmers in large numbers have started their bike rally from Chikkaballapur and Kolar to Devanahalli in Bengaluru.

The police reportedly struggling to stop the farmers from holding the protests in Devanahalli. The farmers have been urging the government to take necessary steps to provide permanent irrigation facility to Kolar and neighboring districts as farmers have facing acute water shortage for years.
