FIR against Chandrashekar Swamiji for allegedly cheating business man

Bengaluru: First Information Report (FIR) has been registered by RT Nagar police in the state capital against Chandrashekar Swamiji and other three in connection with a cheating case. According to an order by a local court, the police have filed an FIR against Swamiji, his wife Rajani C and Girish Kamath.
The petitioner, buainess man, Ashraf Ali is known to Swamiji. Ali had handed over Rs 2 crore to Swamiji in 2011 to install banners, boards on the road side of the roads located adjacent to Palace Road in the state capital. However, Swamiji didn’t install the advertisements as agreed to promote the business of Ali. Subsequently, Ali asked Swamiji to repay his money as he failed to act according to his promise.
Following these developments, the business man had filed a complaint at a local court in Bengaluru. Now the court has asked the police to register an FIR against the accused for further investigation.
