FIR against man for making threat call to Vinay Kumar Sorake, Dinesh Mattu

Udupi: An FIR has been registered against Pune Billava President for allegedly threatening former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake and journalist Dinesh Amin Mattu over the phone.
The complaint was lodged by Udyavar Gram Panchayat member Diwakar Bolje at the Udupi Town Police station.
It is learnt that the Pune Billava Sangha Kadthala Vishwanath Poojary, during a telephonic conversation with Dinesh Amin Mattu, expressed his displeasure over the proposed inter-religious Billawa-Muslims Harmony meet. Poojary allegedly threatened Dinesh Amin Mattu and Vinay Kumar Sorake with life during the conversation, the recording of which has gone viral on social media.
Meanwhile, the proposed harmony meet, that was scheduled to take place on Janaury 11 at the Town Hall has been postponed. A new date for the friendly get-together is likely to be fixed in the coming days.
