Funeral of Parvathamma Rajkumar to be held Today at 06 PM in Kanteerava Studio

Bengaluru: Funeral ceremony of Parvathamma Rajkumar will be held at 06.00 PM on Wednesday at Kanteerava Studio in the state capital. Youngest son of the deceased, cine actor Puneeth Rajkumar will consummate the last rites of Parvathamma according to their community customs and traditions. All arrangements are being completed for the funeral ceremony tobe held in the evening. Her body will be buried adjacent to the grave yard of her late husband, well-known Kannada cine actor Dr Rajkumar.

Dignitaries including Karnataka chief minister Siddarmaiah paid their last respect to the deceased.

According to family sources of the deceased, her body will be kept at the Poorna Pragna Grounds near her residence in Sadashiva Nagar for public viewing. Parvathamma was born in Nanjangud of Mysuru district on December 06 1939 to Appaji Gowda and Lakshmamma. She married Rajkumar at the age of 13.
