Bengaluru: The state government on May 27 issued a circular revising the SOP to be followed in case of international and interstate travelers.
As per the revised circular, asymptomatic person who has completed seven days of institutional quarantine can be permitted to home quarantine after a medical assessment. The Covid 19 testing which was mandatory earlier is no longer required stated the revised SOP. This is applicable in case of both international returnees as well as for returnees from high-risk prevalence states.
The persons falling in the exempted category will be sent to home quarantine for 14-days after a Covid-19 test.
The persons being sent to home quarantine will be stamped with the quarantine seal on their hand and they have to compulsorily register themselves on ‘Quarantine Watch App’ so that the government can track their movements.
