Hangal Records Maximum Rainfall of 12 Cm after Showers Cool Some Parts of Karnataka

Hangal: Rainfall occurred at many places over north interior and at a few places over south interior regions of Karnataka in the last tow days. Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed over coastal Karnataka whereas Hanagal in Haveri district recorded maximum 12 cm rainfall.
Rainfall also reported at Ranebennur 5 cm followed by Haveri APMC,Chintamani PTO, Chintamani 3 cm each; Yelburga , Ilkal 2 cm each, Narayanapura Haveri, Hayyal, Napoklu, Konanur, Nuggehalli, YN Hoskote 1 cm each.
There was no significant change in the maximum temperature over the state. There was below normal temperature at a few places over north interior, normal over coastal and south interior Karnataka. Kalaburgi recorded highest temperature of 41.0 degree Celsius in the state. Rain, thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over south interior Karnataka and at isolated places over coastal and north interior Karnataka in the next four days.
