Haveri: Applications invited for cashew cultivation

Ranibennur: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra here has invited applications from farmers from Haveri district’s Haveri, Ranibennur, Hirekerur, Hanagal, Shiggaon, Savanur, Byadgi and Rattihalli taluks interested in the cultivation of cashew for the year 2020-21.

The project will be carried out in 50 hectares of the district. The applications will on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Interested farmers will have to submit copies of their land documents, soil specimen, Aadhar card, bank account passbook along with two passport-sized photographs to the Kendra.

Farmers will be selected by the Kendra determining the suitability of the farm. Subsidy will be available to the cashew growers.
