Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court, on Friday, passed an interim order directing the Cubbon Park police not to arrest Sandalwood actor Arjun Sarja until the next hearing into the sexual harassment case filed against him by actor Sruthi Hariharan.

Hearing a petition filed by Sarja, seeking quashing of the FIR registered against him Justice Dinesh Kumar noted that as the alleged incident had taken place in 2015, there was no need to arrest Sarja until the next hearing. He, however, clarified that the police shall continue their investigations in the case.

Sarja alleged that the case and complaint was a classic case of austere abuse of law and launching of malicious and vile attacks on an innocent man who has thrived hard for 36 years to stand out with the portrait of gentleman.
