Bengaluru: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said that the government will shelve the elevated corridor project if people do not want it.
He was agitated that people were opposed to this project, like they were in the case of the steel flyover (Basava circle to Hebbal flyover).
He added that all possibilities to decongest Bengaluru- like metrorail, high speed rail link, monorail, flyover and increasing BMTC services – were being studied.
HDK clarified saying that “Revanna is not hijacking the city’s development projects. The elevated corridor is being undertaken by KRDCL (Karnataka Road Development Corporation) s wing of PWD so he is here.
