HDK’s allegation on Ram temple fundraising unfounded says Pejawar seer

Udupi: The chief seer of the Pejawara matha here Sri Vishwa Prasanna Teertha Swamiji has sharply responded to the statement of former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy.
“This is a baseless allegation. The fundraising for Sri Rama Janmabhoomi is being carried out transparently. Our intention is to reach the homes of every Lord Ram devotee in the country,” Swamiji said.
“For this purpose, we are identifying the houses we have already visited during the fund collection. People’s interest in the fundraising drive is higher than expected. Workers are marking those homes from where they have already collected donations. This is not a process of identifying those who did not donate anything,” the Swamiji clarified.
“This is also being done to reach those houses later that had been left earlier. People should speak responsibly when responding to such a meritorious act,” Swamiji added.
Commenting on Siddaramaiah refusal to donate money for the Ram Janmabhoomi, the Swamiji said that we do not demand donations from anyone. Only those who are willing to donate can do so.
“We will not comment on the opinion that Rama’s birthplace itself is disputed. The Supreme Court of India has agreed that Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Rama. We are sceptical about those who are patriotism of those who express indifference to the country’s Supreme Court ruling,” the Pejawara Sree said.
