Heavy rains across coastal Karnataka

Mangaluru/Udupi: Heavy rains accompanied by lightning and thunder was experienced at various locations in coastal Karnataka on Friday evening and night.

Heavy rains drenched Subhramanya and Kadaba. The heavy rains flooded the Adi Subhramanya road giving it an image of a river. There was heavy rains and lightning in areas of Belthangady including Belthangady,Ujjire, Dhrmasthala and Kakkionjeguruvayanakere. Rain was also witnessed at Sullia, Bellare and Ivarnadu.

There were flashes of lightning were witnessed in Mangaluru. Thunderstorm covered Puttur. Moodbidri faced severe rain with thunder. Vittal’s skies were draped with clouds. Rain and thunder was experienced at various locations in Udupi and Kundapura.
