Mangaluru: Due to heavy rains in the district, wall of Halajekere at Chibidre in Belthangady collapsed causing much danger to commuters here.

Due to this, there is no wall restricting the water flow disrupting the vehicular movement on this route.

A student who was walking beside the water body accidentally slipped into it, however, he was saved by the timely action of the local residents.

A house collapsed at Ujire Olapete.

Following lack of stormwater drains, the rainwater flowed on the road near Ujire School, Belal Cross, Belthangady and Guruvayanakere causing inconvenience to the pedestrians and motorists.
