Humnabad: 2 workers dead in gas leak at factory

Humanabad: Two youths died due to gas leakage in a chemical factory in an industrial estate on the outskirts of the town on Sunday night.
It is gathered that the incident happened at Sri Prasanna Pre-Possessing Pvt Limited. The deceased have been identified as Mahmud Shabad (21) of Waddanakera village of the taluk and Indrajit of Madhya Pradesh, who were on duty.
Police officials visited the place where the incident took place and shut down the unit. Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are questioning factory management.
Hundreds of people gathered near the government hospital as the information about the accident came to light.
