Hunasagi: Two killed as car rams into bridge wall

Hunasagi (Yadgir): In a horrific accident, two persons were killed on the spot when their car rammed into a bridge on the left bank main canal on the outskirts of Rajanakollur village in the taluk on Friday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Mallikajuna Madivalara (35) who was driving the car and Parasappa Chalavadi (32).

The car was on its way from Balashettyhal village towards Narayanapura village when the driver lost control and rammed into the bridge wall of the left bank canal. Both occupants were killed on the spot due to the impact.

DySP T. Manjunath and CPI M.B. Chikkana visited the spot and carried out inspections. Meanwhile,a  case has been registered at eh Kodekkal Police station in this regard.
