Mumbai: Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri said that he is “upset” with the lack of representation of Bollywood in the Padma Awards winners’ list.
Agnihotri further said that it could be because “nothing” happened due to the coronavirus pandemic. He added, “People vote for Padma Awards and there was a lot of controversy around Bollywood people didn’t find anyone worthy.”
“I am definitely upset and also let’s not forget the film industry’s contribution to the economy. It showcases your culture, history, architecture and so much more,” he added
