Bengaluru: Chief Miniter HD Kumaraswamy said “Give me some time. It is just two months since I became the Chief Minister. I have not become the Chief Minister to cheat anyone,”

Talking in the sidelines of a program here, he said that he will be pro-pooras long as he is the chief minister. “I am not the chief minister of just Ramanagara but also of the whole state. Each of the district in the state are my districts. Quit criticizing. Give me some time,” he asked.

“I am not joking about the farmer loan waiver. I have taken it up as a challenge. It isn’t fair to talk like this to somebody who works for the farmers. I have no confusion in the matter of loan waiver scheme,” he said.

Reacting to the increase in fuel costs, he stated, “You are stating to the fisher women in Mangaluru, that Kumaraswamy isn’t your chief minister since I increased petroleum and diesel costs by a rupee. Why are you so angry with me? Modi has increased fuel prices eleven times. You are not saying anything against it?”
