Bengaluru: Congress legislator from Karnataka Roshan Baig on Thursday, November 1 alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party is simply creating an issue with regards to the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Stating that the BJP leaders are raking up the Ayodhya issue since the  Lok Sabha elections are approaching, Roshan Baig claimed that it was a ploy used by the saffron party to attract voters other than creating a divide between Hindus and Muslims.

He further questioned, “If not in India will Ram temple  be constructed in Pakistan?”

The Supreme Court on Monday had adjourned the Ayodhya title suit till January 2019 to fix the date of hearing in the matter.
