IGNOU regional centre granted for Udupi

Udupi: A Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) regional centre has been granted for Udupi and will be inaugurated at Dr G Shankar government women college at Ajjarakadu on January 19th informed MLA K Raghupati Bhat and coordinator of the centre Shridhar Bhat at a press conference here on Saturday Dec 29th.

IGNOU study centres are there at only five government colleges in the state. For now, there is opportunity to pursue BA, MA, 6 months certificate course in functional English (CFE), Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) and other courses. Admission can be done by Jan 15th through online means. For more information visit ignou.ac.in or call 9880952978. The fees are also paid through online itself.

Those who have not done SSLC, PUC can get direct entry into degree course on completing the BPP course, informed Shridhar Bhat.
