IKEA to open flagship store in Bengaluru in June 2022

Bengaluru / Davos: Karnataka’s state capital will soon have a flagship store of Swedish furniture and home accessories giant IKEA soon. The store will open at Nagasandara in June 2022.
Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai made the announcement on Wednesday after a meeting with Ingka Group (IKEA) Global CEO Jesper Brodin on the sidelines of WEF summit in Davos.
Bommai shared the pictures of his meeting with Brodin on Twitter.
The Twitter post read: ” I am pleased to announce that @IKEAIndia will be opening their flagship store in Nagasandra in June 2022. We are also in talks with the organisation to encourage local manufacturing, thus boosting employment and economic growth. #KarnatakaAtDavos #BuildForTheWorld @wef.”
