Illegal slaughterhouse raided in Mulur, six arrested

Mulur: The city police raided a slaughterhouse being run illegally and arrested six persons.
The arrested are Ahmed Mansoor (32), Mohammed Azharuddin (26), Mohammed Haneef alias Asphar (28) Mohammed Ismail (22), Nawaz (25), and Umarabba (60). Meanwhile, two other accused are absconding.
Acting on a complaint, the police conducted a raid on the slaughterhouse at Muloor on Wednesday, May 12.
During the raid, the police seized 30 kg of meat, One pickup van, and four two-wheeler vehicles. The police also rescued four calves.
