JD(S) emerges victorious in Mandya

Mandya: Based on recent reports, the JD(S) is leading in all seven Assembly constituencies in Mandya and three out of the four constituencies in Bengaluru (Rural) district. Mandya MP C.S. Puttaraju has won 16,369 votes. In K.R. Pet, K.C. Narayana Gowda has secured the lead with 14,218 votes followed by Congress candidate K.B. Chandrashekhar with 10,745 votes.

D.C. Thammanna is leading in Maddur with 17,097; K. Sureshgowda in Nagamangala with 30,848 votes; M. Srinivas in Mandya with 37,394 votes; Ravindra Srikantaiah in Srirangapatna with 20,657 votes and K. Annadani in Malavalli with 15,950 votes. The JD(S) can be expected to win the entire Mandya segment.

In Bengaluru (Rural) district, the JD(S) is leading in three constituencies- Nelamangala, Doddaballapura and Devanahalli. Only Hosakote constituency has Sharath Bachegowda in the lead.
