Joggers, walkers in park should wear mask: BBMP

Bengaluru: With the lockdown being lifted in Bengaluru,  many joggers and fitness enthusiasts were seen walking and jogging with masks on.
Many were confused about whether one should wear a mask while jogging, exercising or not as earlier, BBMP had claimed that those jogging, walking, or exercising need not wear masks as the oxygen level in the body can dip.

But this year, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike has urged all the joggers and walkers to compulsorily wear a mask while going out.

Chief health officer of BBMP, Dr BK Vijendra said, “It is mandatory to wear masks when walking or jogging.”
