Journalist’s safety in mind, press club cancels press meet b/w Mar 23-31

Mangaluru: Amid the increase in positive cases in Kasaragod and Kodagu at the press meet that was scheduled to take place between March 23 to 31 in the Press Club of Mangaluru has been canceled.
Keeping in mind the safety of the journalists of the district the officials decided to cancel the press meets, informed sources.
However, the decision to hold press meets after March 31 will be taken after reviewing the situation in the district, informed sources.
The decision was taken after 6 positive cases were reported in Kasaragod and one in Kodagu.
