Kalaburagi: Woman under quarantine gives birth in ambulance; baby dies

Kalaburagi: In a tragic incident a child of a quarantined woman who went into labour  in an ambulance died at birth on Sunday, June 14 at Sedam.

The quarantined woman is Maria Ashok (35), she had returned to the town from Pune on June 11 and was quarantined in the town itself.

As per sources, after Maria developed labour pain she was rushed to the local government hospital but the doctors there advised them to take her to Kalaburagi.

On her to Kalaburagi she gave birth to a baby boy in the ambulane, however, the child died at birth.
