Karkala: Class 8 student ends life over low marks

Karkala: A Class 8 student, who had obtained low marks in the examination, ended his life at Kerebattu, Karkala on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Anwith Shetty (14), a student of a private English medium school in Hebri. He was the son of Sathish Shetty and Mamata Shetty from Kerebattu.
It is said that Anwith had hanged himself in the bathroom using a bucket. He was immediately taken to the hospital but he was declared brought dead.
A case has been registered.
