New Delhi: This is Karnataka’s first domestic trophy of the season after having lost out on the Ranji Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

With a total run of 255, Saurashtra got off to a poor begin with Samarth Vyas giving without end his wicket in the first finished in the wake of crushing two limits. Before, Prasidh Krishna struck again and Dharmendrasinh Jadeja withdrew for 1. The experience of Cheteshwar Pujara proved to be useful for the side and he sewed a decent 62-run organization with Avi Barot, before Barot gave away his wicket in Stuart Binny’s finished.

Ravindra Jadeja and Cheteshwar Pujara took Saurashtra more than 100 preceding Jadeja was rejected by Pavan Deshpande. K Gowtham struck twice in the following over to offer control to Karnataka. He additionally expelled Jaydev Unadkat for third soon after Chirag Jani was run out. Pujara and Kamlesh Makvana fabricated a decent association and took Saurashtra to 100. But another mistake in the center got Pujara run out for 94.

Karnataka beat Saurashtra by 42 races to secure title after Prasidh Krishna has rejected Shaurya Sanandia.

Brief scores: Karnataka 253/10 (Mayank Agarwal 90, Pavan Deshpande 49; Kamlesh Makvana 4/32) against Saurashtra 212/10 (Cheteshwar Pujara 94; Krishnappa Gowtham 3/27).
