Kasaragod love jihad: Cheating is characteristic features of jihadi elements

Kasaragod/Bengaluru: In yet another case of love jihad, a 18-year-old girl from Kasaragod was allegedly being blackmailed and forced to convert into Islam by her Muslim friend.

In a complaint lodged with Kasargod police, the victim alleged that the youth had raped her after giving her juice laced with drugs. Thereafter he had repeatedly raped her in Mangaluru and Bengaluru and had even made a video of the same. He later blackmailed to upload the video on social media if she did not convert into Islam.

As the accused is a resident of Bengaluru, the victim approached MP Shobha Karandlaje and through her, she lodged a complaint with chief minister BS Yediyurappa and Bengaluru city commissioner Bhaskar Rao.

In a series of tweets, Karandlaje said that cheating as well as inflicting physical and mental cruelty are the characteristic features of jihadi elements.

While the entire family is traumatized, the “secular” Kerala government, the “human rights activists” and the “intellectuals” are conspicuous by their “thunderous silence”.

Shame on these pseudos whose “vibrant activism” is confined only to condemn the nationalist forces, her tweet read.
