Kasaragod: Woman dies after falling off moving train

Kasaragod: A woman died after allegedly falling off a moving train at Pallikere in Kasaragod. The body of a woman was found near the railway tracks of Pallikere Mastigudde on Saturday, January 6.

The incident is suspected to have occurred late in the night on Friday. Locals who discovered the body alerted the police.

Based on the ID cards found in a purse found near the body, the woman was identified to be Aishwarya Joseph (30), a resident of Kalpatta Kavumanda. She was employed in a private firm in Kozahikode and was reportedly traveling on the Netravati Express train to Mangaluru for work.

The mortal remains of Aishwarya are kept in the mortuary of Kasargod General Hospital.
