Kasargod: Man killed after KSRTC bus rams stationary pick-up vehicle

Kasargod: A 43-year-old man was killed while another was injured after a KSRTC bus rammed into a stationary pickup vehicle at Adkasthala here on Tuesday, September 26.

The deceased identified as Mustafa, a resident of Perla Maniayampare Pajjana was the driver of the pick-up vehicle.

It is gathered that Mustafa had parked the vehicle by the roadside. The accident took place as a KSRTC bus rammed into the pick up vehicle while trying to avert a collision with a car coming from the opposite side.

Mustafa sustained serious head injuries and died en route to the hospital.

Badiadka police registered a case in this regard.
