King Cobra rescued and released at Charmadi

Mangaluru: A 13feet long king cobra, which was trapped at a fence on the road side in Belthangady taluk was rescued on Monday.
Locals noticed a King Cobra being trapped in the fence and trying to free itself. Villagers contacted snake expert Joy Mascarenhas to help the cobra from this.
Joy reached the spot with snake catching sticks and bag. After releasing the cobra from the fence it was tactfully put inside a bag and later released at Charmadi Ghat.
